An event is being prepared for next winter, namely CROSSING, which will open the season with an exhibition of group of women artists with different backgrounds. They will present at the Event with their Artworks and Performances.

The first Artists who will open Crossing are Franca Lanni with her Performance Yells and direction Raymond La Motte, and Renata Petti with her group LALOBA reflect the Place with The Deformation, Bodies seeking a Shape.

They will meet on the ArtHaus premises and will relate their experiences through a series of filmed and programmed interviews during the exhibition. They will give respite to their dreams, their nightmares, views of the body and sense of freedom, sense of unease; the content of art.

Filming means looking outside oneself, and hence observing the events of life in order to examine them with sensitive eyes and transform the fragment of experience into an act of creation. That fragment of pain for ever separates the observer from what he observes, when the subject observed is the wound of one’s own mind. Painting not only as a physical act, but as a form of inspiration of colour, creation that comes from within.
Painting through a sight-seeing journey, where the body is transformed into metaphor, one moves through a rugged hostile land where the will? of the representation is manifested in suffering and anxiety ; it all takes place by digging into and scratching into colours and into the soul.
